Citadel Intern Programme
The Citadel Intern Programme was established by City Temple to enable young people from around the world to come to London, experience life in an urban international church, and engage in the fulfilment of God's vision for City Temple. The Intern Programme is a rigorous commitment (approximately 70 hrs per week) to ministry, service, training, spiritual development and communitylife. Interns will have opportunity to explore a variety of traditional ministry opportunities such as worship, prayer, children's ministry, evangelism, or working with the homeless. Interns will also be introduced to 'business as mission' - an understanding that God's calling on our lives, whether within the church or in the marketplace is valid, holy and empowered by God for the transformation of our communities, cities and the world. Work in the City in schools, businesses, volunteer organisations and government will be an integral part of the intern experience.
Citadel Interns live at City Temple in shared accommodation in community and receive a small stipend for food and living expenses. The intern programme begins in September and ends in July and interns are expected to complete the entire programme. For visa purposes, interns must be from within the EU or able to secure a one year visa from their own country.
Requirements for Interns:
- A committed and growing relationship with Jesus as Lord of your life
- Good conversational English skills
- A Willingness to commit to living in community with humility, flexibility and love
- Proper visa papers allowing you to live in the UK for one year
- Completed application papers, including references from church leaders

The programme will begin 21 September 2009 with residency available from 18 September.
