A Message from Pastor Rod Woods
 I’ve really never liked "church" all that much. I know this is normal for
most people–but I’m a pastor! So, as a pastor, my goal has always been to
build a church for people who don’t like church.
For me, church should be a place where one can encounter God and build friendships with other people. It should be a place where you worship with people from a variety of cultures and backgrounds, not just your own. It should be a place where you can expect to find God’s loving guidance for your life. That is why I enjoy being part of City Temple.
The City Temple is an international church in the heart of London, bringing together people from many different nations. We believe the Bible is God’s Word to us, reliable and true and that Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead so that we might have real life. For us, the Holy Spirit is still active in the world and in our lives, helping us to become people that please God and assist us in continuing Jesus’s ministry today.
We welcome you to come as you are. You don’t have to be a Bible scholar. You don’t have to clean up your life first. You don’t have to be wealthy, poor, middle-class, English, or anything else. You just need to come, expecting to meet God and others who are learning to follow Jesus Christ.

near St. Louis, Missouri. Rod and Karen’s vision is to be catalysts for renewal throughout the
Body of Christ and to help equip future generations to fulfil the Great Commission.
